Football jersey orders have been placed and are expected to arrive by August.
Football equipment hand-outs began on 6/12.Future hand-out dates:Sunday, June 19 from 1pm - 3pm; Saturday July 9 from 9am - 2pm; Saturday July 16 from 1pm - 3pm and Saturday July 23 from 10am - 2pm.
All Football Coach applications/background checks to be forwarded to Dan’l Pierce.
7U football still needs coach, all other teams have secured a coach.
9U, 10U, 11U registration numbers low—may not have enough players to form teams at those age levels.
SMYAC meeting scheduled for July 14th to set up practice and game schedules.
Football teams to participate in PAL Hawks Annual Pre-Season Scrimmage on August 20, 2016.
Football teams to participate in other pre-season events (South River Jamboree) notify Erik Allen beforehand.
Tentative speed conditioning sessions to be held this summer by Coach Andre and Coach Kevin (for all players).
Games likely to begin Saturday, August 27, 2016 (with no games the following weekend/Labor Day).
Homecoming Fundraisers discussed including Homecoming T-Shirts.

Discussed need for new lights at practice field.Possible donation from SMECO or look into costs of LED spot lights to replace those currently in place.
Cheer mat update—Kim Koteff has emailed proposal to PPMS in regards to splitting the costs of the mats to store/house them at the school and will be available for school use as well. Still waiting on a response/decision from PPMS.
Cheer mats estimated around $3,000 ($1500 cost to HYC should PPMS agree to share costs).Roll-out mats measuring at 42ft X 6ft and 1 ¾ inch thick.
