GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING – November 15, 2016

Meeting opened at 7:40pm at the HVFD

General Discussion/Business:

  • Lacrosse Online Registration to Open 12/1/16.  Early bird $10 discount until 1/1/17.

  • Register by 2/1/17 for preferred jersey number. Registration to close 3/1/17.

  • New lacrosse uniforms for Lax 2017.

  • All lacrosse teams to participate in Chesapeake Division SMYLA.

  • All players will purchase new uniform for spring 2017.

  • Cannons Lacrosse to participate with HYC this spring. Bert Fleming to help assist/coach.

  • SMYLA Meetings to take place in December, mid-January and mid-February.

  • HYC Lax Registration Banners to be put out Dec 3rd weekend by Fred Lynch.

  • Scoopers to practice at Calverton on Tues/Thurs. Possible Thurs night games in addition to SMYLA games.

  • HYC Board Position of President available.  Erik Allen to step down from Presidency December 2016.

  • 8U to compete in the All Pro State Championship Game at Arundel High School on 12/3 at 9:00 am.

  • 4 players from HYC 14U selected for St. Mary's Ryken's ALL STAR football game to be held on Sat. 11/26.

  • 13 players from HYC 12U football team to participate in "Turkey Bowl" at Potomac HS in Dumfries, VA 11/25-11/27.

  • New football uniforms for Fall 2017 presented, discussed and voted on by Board Members.

  • Meeting adjourned at 8:44pm
