GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING – February 13, 2018

Meeting opened at 8:02pm at HVFD

General Discussion/Business:

• Lacrosse Practices begin Feb. 24^th.

• Calverton Field secured for lacrosse practices along with PPES.

• SMYLA League Games begin April 7^th.

• SMYLA All Star game scheduled for May 13th.

• SMYLA Tournament May 19^th-20^th

• HYC Annual Bayhawks Game (end of season Lacrosse party) scheduled for Saturday, June 2^nd.

• Spring Football.  Registration Ongoing. Practices to being early March.

• Spring Football Banners made and being placed along Route 4.

• Discussed helmet quantities and sizes.  May need to order more for Fall.

• Helmets do not need reconditioned for Fall 2018.

• Tony Fleming to coach U15 Spring football team.  He suggested we offer U15 a mesh jersey for games, to help reduce cost for those players moving onto high school in the fall. 

• Board agreed to offer mesh/practice style jersey for U15s for $25, to be purchased from All Pro.

• Spring Football games to begin April 15^th.

• Nick Bottcher of All Pro presented samples for integrated game pants, customized socks and jerseys.
