General Discussion/Business:
Lacrosse
Registration is going well.
Outstanding lacrosse bill has been paid from last year.
The goals need to be checked to see which ones need to be restrung and as need to order lacrosse balls. Mike reported he would like to look at the goals in the shed, but Marley Run is closed and he needs to call ahead to get gate unlocked. Discussed just walking over the gate to the get to the shed.
Tara will update our YSP to send to Parks and Rec with an updated affidavit. She will also request practice fields. Mike would like another field requested for games/practices. Tara reported we will most likely have the same fields as last year for practice.
Discussed doing a Super Bowl square fundraiser for lacrosse, and Tara will discuss this with Natalie.
Lacrosse uniforms need to be ordered by first week of February
Discussed that there are no new covid restrictions.
Mike will attend SMYSLA meeting, and he will ask if the kids need the new chest protector for the spring. He will find out how one can get onto the Rules and Discipline Committee.
Discussion about the girls’ teams having games with the Tri-County league and Anne Arundel.
Mike reported he needs a U15 coach because Coach Lusby is only coaching the girls team this year. Discussed reaching out to a high school coach and/or high school student after confirming the minimum age to coach.
Football
Pat will remain as football commissioner; no one ran against him.
No one put in their name for equipment manager.
Another equipment return will occur this Saturday. Tara and Pat discussed if he can attend but he is traveling out of state.
Cheer
Shannon is collecting cheer uniforms and Katie has most of the mats
